My Journey

Over the past 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing students and colleagues. I have taught in general education for 2nd, 3rd and 6th grade and currently I teach special education resource/inclusion in elementary.

My goal is to blog about the ideas I’ve implemented in my classroom, as well as innovative practices I’ve seen that I want to share with others. I’ve been creating resources for other teachers for over 10 years, and I love being able to contribute to the teaching community.

Discovering Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT)

When I discovered Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT), it was a game-changer for me as a third-grade teacher. My school had a math workbook but lacked supplementary materials. TPT helped me stay afloat when I needed quick, effective resources. It was my colleagues who encouraged me to share the materials I was making for our team, which started my journey of creating and sharing educational resources.

Sharing and Growing

Once I realized my resources were reaching hundreds of teachers, I knew I could be a creative force to help others. While I haven’t created all the products I have ideas for yet, my goal is to keep going strong and continue to support fellow educators.
